Prestige Care is an award-winning assisted living, memory care, and independent living organization. With over 80 locations throughout the west coast, they have built an impeccable reputation for proving amazing and innovative care.
The M&P team worked closely with the Prestige Care marketing team to analyze user search data, for both potential residents and adult children of potential residents. Based upon the data, M&P improved rankings within Google to drive a steady stream of web leads.
step 1: keyword research
We dove into trends within the keywords of "nursing home", "retirement home", and "assisted living". Trying to determine what phrase, if any, was most commonly used in Google.
As shown by the chart below, the keyword “nursing home” is the most commonly searched term.
However, since Prestige Care operates on the west coast, we took a look at searches by geo-location. The chart below shows that “assisted living” is more commonly used in their target area.
As a result, we targeted “assisted living” keywords. As well as location-based searches (called geo-modifiers) that we found were attached to the common search terms.
